Supporting our candidates
Our Senior Recruitment Consultant Sue Peers on Errington Legal's approach to supporting candidates in their job search.

Candidates at all levels, including Partners, require and value the support we are able to offer in assisting the process of a change in their career, from the initial discussions about their next opportunity, to job offer and beyond.
Communication
Keeping communication open and relevant, updating even when processes might be moving slowly, to allay any concerns, is always welcomed by the candidates we represent.
Process
Our long standing relationships with our clients enables us to give an insight into what the candidate can expect, the people they are meeting, the make-up of the team, platform and firm culture. This means the meetings are focused and both parties have an opportunity to do their own due diligence.
Offer/ Negotiation
Upon offer we allow the candidate to be one step removed, from what can be for many, an uncomfortable discussion around salary, job title/ entry point, and other elements of the overall package.
We negotiate on their behalf, again knowing the client well and, by then, the candidate, we can have those open conversations.
Likewise for the client we enable them to be able to explore options before putting an offer to a candidate.
The support we offer to candidates is a key part of our service and, as such, is often positively referenced when we receive candidate feedback.
