Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to join an Employment Team ranked in Band 1 in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 who are continuing to develop and grow?

Principal Employment Associate - Cambridge or Norwich - hybrid working available

Client
Major UK law firm and a Sunday Times "100 Best Companies to Work For" with ambitious plans for growth and one of the leading higher education firms in the country.

Role
Undertake a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious work, predominantly for higher education clients but also for schools, further education colleges, charities and education related clients.
Technically very interesting work, arising from the size and complexity of clients and the national and geopolitical context in which they sit. 
A focus on working for clients in London and the Eastern region, but you will also be involved in working for higher education clients across the country.
You will be involved in delivering a programme of training, seminars and legal updates to clients and targets.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at a senior level, to support further growth, to lead on developing clients, and help to develop more junior members of the team.

You
8+ years' employment experience gained in a firm with a substantive employment law practice. Training can be provided on sector specific issues.
You may have not worked in the higher education sector before, but will have an interest in working at a senior level with such clients and a desire to be part of plans for growth. 
Deliver outstanding client service to both internal and external clients to encourage client retention and referrals 
Have strong technical competence and legal knowledge in employment law 
Deliver high quality and commercially focused advice
