Candidates from legal secretarial backgrounds would be at an advantage, however highly skilled Administrators will also be considered.

Tasks will include:

• Opening client matters and completing ID checks/documentation in line with SRA regulations


• Keeping the document management system updated with any changes in clients’ information


• Working with Digital Dictation


• Providing efficient diary and email management


• Providing effective management of visitors and calls


• Managing communication with internal and external contacts ensuring that the team are kept up to date with all matters


• Handling incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring it is filed in the document management system


• Creating and amending documents and letters


• Creating invoices, credit notes, BACS, TT payments and processing monthly expenses


• File management, keeping files up to date, opening and closing and archiving


• Using the practice management system to log and record documents

• Ideally previous experience within the legal industry (candidates with Family Law experience will also be at an advantage)


• Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities


• Strong organisational and administration skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail


• Ability to demonstrate resilience and positive enthusiasm to get the job done


• Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain a calm approach


• Ability to be resourceful with good time management skills
